Extraordinary 1912 New York Giants, Champions of the National League, Sporting News Team Supplemental Photo. Companion piece to the preceding lot. Measures just a shade under 8" x 10." The Giants boasted a roster of elite players including: Christy Mathewson, Fred Merkle, Rube Marquard, Snodgrass, etc. Manager of the Giants, John McGraw, is the inset photo. Exhibits creasing, both vertically and horizontally, in various places. Some clear tape on back to mask some rips. Nothing inordinately wrong with photo. Just age and attrition have reared their head in spots. Vg condition
