1930 World Series Official Program that featured the St. Louis Cardinals and the defending World Champion Philadelphia Athletics. This is the St. Louis version from Sportsman's Park. Delightful Post-Season program from an time that was the complete antithesis of the Dead-Ball Era. Offensive prowess was the name of the game in the 1930's and both these squads had their fair share of Big-Boppers. For the visiting A's: Jimmy Foxx, Mickey Cochrane, Al Simmons, etc. For the host Cardinals: Jim Bottomley, Frankie Frisch, Chick Hafey, etc. Program is missing the BACK COVER. Not scored. There is a "Max Bishop" autograph on the last page which, for all intents and purposes, we will assume is legit. Staining on front cover. Rips on spine. A few pieces of tape on spine, as well. Inside pages are still in decent shape. All photos and text are fine. Good/Vg condition
